Hoolah announces a regional partnership with ASUS

hoolah is ASUS’ first and exclusive Buy Now Pay Later partner for 2021 in APAC rollout plan.

hoolah has entered into a regional partnership with electronics hardware manufacturer ASUS that enables their customers to pay later in a way that is flexible, convenient, and transparent, announced the omni-channel Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) company on 28 July.

This marks ASUS’s first Buy Now Pay Later partnership in Asia, kicking off with Singapore across all ASUS physical and online retail stores, with progressive rollouts planned for other markets in Asia Pacific.

“From 30 July, ASUS customers will be able to split their purchases automatically into three monthly, interest-free repayments when they check out via hoolah in-store and online,” the company said in a statement. “This partnership aims to bring greater financial access to quality electronics in a responsible and financially sustainable manner.”

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be ASUS’s first Buy Now Pay Later partner in Asia to deliver a flexible and convenient BNPL service for their customers in Singapore and beyond. As hoolah expands across geographies, verticals and merchants, we are seeing a surge of younger consumers utilising hoolah to invest in quality products, and doing so responsibly. By allowing customers to split their purchases into 3 interest-free repayments, hoolah will be especially beneficial for students, or fresh graduates who might need to invest in a laptop or digital device for school and their first jobs,” Stuart Thornton, CEO of hoolah said.

“We’re excited to be integrating hoolah’s BNPL expertise being the first mover in Asia, to deliver a seamless and consistent payment experience for our customers, whether they are shopping on our ASUS Online Store or at the physical ASUS Exclusive Store,” said Jimmy Lin, ASUS APAC Regional Head. “It’s not just value we’re bringing to the younger consumers, but the convenience and freedom of being able to split their ASUS purchase into three interest-free repayments is something that we’re confident will be highly beneficial to all our customers.”
