For the first time in the HR industry, e-gifts from leading brands like TeaLive and Baskin-Robbins Malaysia are now available on one single platform.
Giftee Malaysia, a Malaysian subsidiary company of giftee, Inc, and altHR, an Human Resources (HR) super app developed by Malaysian telco Digi, have announced their partnership to introduce corporate gifting to altHR users.
Established in August 2010, giftee inc. hails from Japan and its Malaysian branch was established in September 2018. It offers eGift System for F&B and retail brands and giftee for Business and eGift service for B2B and B2C distribution channels. As of March 2021, Giftee Malaysia is servicing 16 brands.
According to a statement by the e-gift company, this partnership is a first-of-its-kind in the HR sector that allows all employees on altHR to purchase e-Gifts from seven different F&B chains on one single platform. The participating partners include Tealive, Baskin Robbins, Llao Llao, Sanfran Coffee, Big Apple and Sushi King.
In order to encourage eGifting between individuals during these trying times, Giftee Malaysia said it has opened the sales channel to consumers as well, which means employees are not limited to gifting their colleagues, but have the option to send eGifts to their friends, family and loved ones outside of the company too.
“HR plays an important role in helping businesses and their employees stay connected and engaged,” said Kathryn Lee, Head of Digi-X. “With the introduction of eGifting through the altHR app, we now offer employers a new way to show appreciation, celebrate success and keep employees engaged through the act of gifting. This partnership with Giftee Malaysia will benefit thousands of employees in Malaysia and help organisations cultivate a productive culture as we work from home.”
“We have seen considerable success through our corporate eGifting programmes that help companies engage their employees and show appreciation,” said Giftee Malaysia CEO, Mutsumi Ota. “By making it so easy to launch these employee welfare programmes through the altHR mobile app, companies can better manage their employees’ well-being and create a strong positive work culture.”
The company said its eGifts can be purchased through the mobile app using multiple payment options, such as credit cards, online banking or even e-wallets including Boost, GrabPay and Touch ‘n Go eWallet. Upon payment, a URL for the eGift is issued, which can then be sent immediately through email, SMS or chat messaging apps like Whatsapp.
